Mayor Adams and the DOHMH have rescinded the City's remaining COVID-19 vaccine mandates, but the fundamental issues remain to be resolved by lawsuits and legislation.
How can we get the number of vaccinated City workers who have contracted covid while Adam's beloved mandates were in effect? DOE had the situation room last school year--shouldn't be that hard to get those numbers. Would like to know the severity of those bouts. Also, DOE must have numbers on days of work missed due to vaccine side effects.
Good questions. My guess is that it may be possible to obtain numbers of DOE employees who reported COVID cases after the mandate went into effect, because, as you say, there was a reporting system in place. I know less about how other agencies were tracking cases. Severity of cases is probably harder to ascertain. I also don't see a tracking mechanism for days of work missed due to vax side effects. To my knowledge there was no special type of time off granted for illness after vaccination. People just took sick days, whereas with COVID cases, they were reported and people took quarantine periods off that should be trackable. But if you know something I don't, let me know. I'm interested in looking at all numbers relevant to understanding the effects of the mandate policies.
Thank you for your amazing work! Recent 2/5/23 NY Post Editorial wrote: “America needs a trustworthy public-health establishment, but getting it requires some kind of truth-and-reconciliation commission, with significant firings and massive, unflinching and public mea culpas from city, state and federal health departments” - do you know of any lawyers/electeds working on this? Obvious dilemma is who could be entrusted with such an inquiry. Certainly not the people who continue to lie about efficacy of mandates.
Thanks for your comment. I don't know of anyone working on that kind of effort. I also don't see the kind of political will or necessity anywhere that a "truth-and-reconciliation" approach generally requires. There may be inquiries and hearings at the federal level, but I don't see them being bipartisan. The debate over mandates and related policies has unfortunately become so enmeshed in partisan politics that it's difficult for me to envision any large-scale, bipartisan effort to review and reform the public health establishment that so many people have lost confidence in (to put it mildly). At least in the near term. But let me know if you disagree or know of any efforts along these lines that I'm unaware of!
I will keep you posted! Am reaching out to City Council Common Sense Caucus - trying to find out how such a commission could be put together and with what authority.
UFT negotiated time off for vaccine/booster side effects.
Good to know. Thank you! Then that might be trackable too.

I have updated this article with the addition of Broecker v. NYC DOE. See the major cases list.
If he's thinking that this scam of lockdowns will work again, he apparently has no clue as to where the wind is blowing.
In fact, if he tries again, people are going to wake up and realize that their leaders are just globalist puppets of the oligarchs.
Thank you for reporting. I couldn't agree more with John Macari. May justice prevail.
