Every word you said echos what I went through as a NYC teacher with 20 years who was forced to resign and move out of state. The shaming, the divisiveness, the fear, etc I experienced too. I also refused to test and was put on unpaid leave. I am so sorry you went through all of this. There are many of us who experienced the same dystopian nightmare.
