I can totally relate to you as I was a 20 year NYC DOE teacher who was forced to resign over these mandates and not one teacher in my school stood with me. I was told hateful things by coworkers and I continue to pray this nightmare ends. I now live and teach in Tennessee and was on episode 5 for the NY Mandate podcast. None of this makes sense and I don't know how these people sleep at night when they have ruined the lives of teachers, kids, parents and basically the entire sector of NYC. Where I teach parents are more than welcome into schools. This is not normal what is going on in NYC and beyond evil. If you go out of state, you will see how normal things are.
