I don't understand how the courts can be so slow to decide about a clear illegal act, a violation of informed consent which means that one should not be penalized for saying no to the procedure!

I don't have any update on the EEOC situation right now. Yes, the lawsuits take a long time. Many of the plaintiffs I've spoken with have expressed frustration with that. I would note that this case and many others are not about informed consent in a direct way, but rather addresses labor laws and rights.
