NYC Board of Health Votes to End COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates, Raises Question of School Requirement
The BOH voted almost unanimously to end mandates for City employees and contractors, nonpublic school staff, and public school visitors—and noted interest in adding COVID-19 vax to school requirements
At an afternoon meeting on February 9, the New York City Board of Health voted to end the City’s remaining COVID-19 vaccine mandates, as expected after Mayor Eric Adams’s February 6 announcement that the requirements would be rescinded on Feburary 10.
